Here's the gist:
â–¸ Reads and handles long documents (up to 1 million tokens-useful stuff if you work with complex data or text).
â–¸ Responds better to instructions, follows the thread of articulate discourse, and writes code with fewer errors.
â–¸ It is faster and costs less than previous versions (GPT-4.1 beats GPT-4o of the 26% in efficiency).
â–¸ Mini and Nano also came out, lightweight and cheaper versions for simple uses (bots, completions, classifications, etc.).
Oh, and GPT-4 and GPT-4.5 will be decommissioned by July.
So if you're using those, you have to upgrade.
